Bps Rod And Reel Trade In?

Featured Replies

The annual BPS rod and reel trade in is coming up and I have a question regarding the rod aspect of the trade in, since there has to be a BPS employee on board here, or someone who has done it. How does the rod trade in work? I know how the reels work.

This is the first year for a rod trade in. I do seminars at BPS during the Classic and I have brought in many reels to trade or just give a reel. It works the same as the reel program, bring in a rod that is in fishing condition ( no eyes missing ) and get up $ 100.00 off on a rod. Key word here is DEPENDING on how much the rod is that you are buying. If you buy a $250.oo rod you may get $100 off, if you but a $50 rod you may get $10 off. I am not sure how the brake down will be yet.

When is the rod and reel trade in event?

When is the rod and reel trade in event?

The Bass Pro Spring Classic starts Feb.24 to March 11. But the rod & reel trade in is the second weekend of the classic. Should be ( March ) 3 & 4 this year.

When you get your Classic flyer in the mail it should say in there what the dates will be. I was told that there will be a rod & reel trade in. Call your store and speak to the manager!

just called bps for a 200$ rod purchase you get 40$ off with trade in

Not a bad deal if you are looking for a good rod!

how do they judge the quality of the rod you turn in?

can you bring just about any old rod in?

sorry never participated in the trade in before

Yes, that is correct, as long as there are no eyes missing, and the rod is in good working order and nothing wrong with it. You could bring in a old cheap rod and get up to $40.00 off!

I called BPS today and they said Shimano is going participate this year. And you can get also get an additional 20-30% off mail in rebates with Shimano reels. I'm def going to check it out.
