Hydrowave

Featured Replies

Was thinking about getting a Hydrowave. Does anyone have any experience with it or know if it's worth the money?

KVD says he uses one and I guess Iconelli has his own version out this year as well. Use it ...the PROs do. lol Seriously though, reading what I have about them, I do think it helps get them interested, but ya still got do your part:)

JC, we will be hearing a lot about the Hydrowave as the Classic draws near and during and after the event.

I know Van Dam says he will be using it during the tournament.

I have the BSX model but have not used it that much.

I did replace the battery last year and will be using it during some tournaments this year.

Never could really notice any increase activity when the unit was being utilized nor increase bites or catches.

If you do purchase one please give it a try and let us all know if you liked it and is it worth $400.

Thanks.

It's worth every penny of the $400.00 price tag. I use it on every fishing trip I go on which is 3-4 times a week but it doesn't work in every situation.

Thanks Land Surveyor. Appreciate your feedback.

I guess I will have to save my pennies and dimes and consider purchasing a unit this year.

And thanks Phoenix Owner for the heads up on Ike's model. I will take a look at it, too.

I've found it to be very good on shad based lakes when fish are negative or neutral, it can punch them into gear quite often. It's also a great tool for those fish that are on small schools of shad, they'll somehow become more aggressive with the difference in sound. It's perfectly worthless on bodies of water that aren't shad based, however.
