Lake James, Western North Carolina

Featured Replies

Anybody here fish James? I've been fishing it a couple times a week with my dad since I was about 5 years old. (not as much when I was 16-19) I bought a truck and got a little wild for about 4 years, but now it's all I can think about..... getting out on those humps and rock ledges.

I'm looking for somebody to fish with this spring. Dad doesn't get out much and my other buddy sold his rig. I will split the cost, of course. And provide some "special lures" And I would be happy to share all information I've acquired over the years if you ask for it. (We've won or been in the top five every tournament we've ever fished down there) But really... I would be thrilled just to sit in the back of the boat and cast all day.

I've got a place on the lake and a boat, but lack experience and have had no luck fishing that place. Maybe we could help each other out? My boat and your knowledge. What do you think?
