Mister Twister twin tail grub

Featured Replies

For decades I used the twin tail (white) on a round red jig head with great success. I ordered a 100 of them this month. My success fell way off. I compared it to an old one and saw where the tails were not as wide and had much less action. On the sink the new ones didn't flutter at all.

The company said they are using a new manufacture (China?) but that shouldn't make a difference even though using a different plastic. Rrrrright.

Now I have to try other makes looking for that good action and catch rate.

Any suggestions?

Mr. Twisters are good usually, but I like Kalin's, Yamamoto, or Berkely Power grubs as the tail flutters better on the drop and at a slow speed. I also do like the Fat Alberts from Zoom and Bass Pro shops double tails.
