Any Arizona Anglers?

Featured Replies

Any Phoenix area anglers know of any hot spots (big lakes or urban)? We got nice 70 degree weather right now and I need to catch a hog!!

Wanna catch some great Northern Pike?....just for something different?....Upper Lake Mary in Flagstaff. Big Walleyes too!.......just FYI.

Roosevelt!

Want to catch a hog? I'd say Canyon. Its feast or famine there though.

Sag has some good fish in it too. This state sure is tough to fish though.

A lot of people don't know that there are a lot of good sized bass in the SRP canal system and its perfectly legal with an AZ class A fishing license. The bass usually hang out by the flow gates. They also have "TONS" of carp some a little over three feet long, easy to catch to with a little chunk of hot dog. But SRP ask that you release the carp that you catch, they are stocked to keep the canals clean for better water flow. Who want to eat bottom feeders from the dirty canal anyways, their just a lot of fun to fight. So far the best stretch of canal I've fished is between 83th&Bethany Home Rd. and 91st&Bethany Home Rd.
