How Do You Guys Store Hair Jigs

Featured Replies

I have a bunch and I was wondering if you just throw them in a box or do you have a special case for them.

I see as i put them in a box they almost get "box hair" like "hat head" after wearing a baseball cap for awhile

What few I have are in a box, or an old tackle box. I know what you mean by "box hair". Maybe I should consider another method.

Through my business I have access to zip-top plastic bags that measure approximately 2"x4". These bags work well to individually bag each hair/feather jig I tie and then they store nicely in Plano boxes with my various jig heads. I would guess that an empty soft plastics bag would store several hair jigs with minimal hair damage.

I carry 50 or so in my boat all the time and I just live with the "box hair". Let us know if you find another storage method.............Al

I have only 15, they have been used since the 70's, as soon as I get home I dry them out with a hair dryer ON LOW !, I will let them sit overnite and the next day I will fluff them up and pack them away in a plastic storage box in a nice shady area, I only use mine when the water is below the 50 mark.

I have a BUNCH of NorthStar Hair Jigs that are in their own individual small ziplocks and stored in a deli meat container labeled "hair jigs". This will take care of your bad hair problem ;)

I don't have many, and I don't worry about it.

A couple of casts and a little dab of Megastrike, and the bad hair day is over.

ROFLMAO!!!!

X2 on the small ziplocks and the Plano box.

I pack mine individually in bags that I get from the craft store. Look around by the beads and jewelry making stuff.
