I ordered some of these plugs the other week, but haven't tried them yet.  Has any one used these cranks? I have always preffered homeade balsa plugs over plastic ones but the man i usually buy them from said he was 8 months behind schedule.  Hopefully these will do the job until i get my order in.

I haven't tried them, but I assume they're the exact same bait as the Mimic flatside (Mimic makes them for Strike King).  

If so, you can save a bundle of money just buying the Mimics, which are selling for about $5 right now on ebay.  

I've done very well with them.
