The Owens gang was down from Idaho and feeling the need to get on the exotics. We boated about 26 and three were in the 5-6 pound class. All were caught sightfishing and most on the nest.

Great fish right there, Shane! Now those are some gorgeous southern Florida fish.

Beautiful fish man!

Hey, imma be down in melbourne in the next few weeks. I'm bringing my kayak.

1. Are the snook around in that area?

2. What's the nearest canal or anyplace that I might tie into a peacock? I know ill have to make a run to ft. Lauderdale or miami...but what are my odds of running down there and catching one, not really ever being there/ trying? Lol.

Its on my bucket list.

If I had any sense....or money...id hire a fine guide like yourself.

But I have neither. Lol!

Awesome. Peacock bass fishing is on my bucket list. I'll take Florida, because it's far more likely to become a reality, but really want to hit the Amazon.

The females do not have a hump.

Those are some cool looking fish. I'd love to get down there sometime and get after those things!
