Looking to set myself up a decent rig for crappie/pan fish running either 4 or 6 pound test.

I am thinking a Shimano Sonora 1000 size on a St. Croix triumph 6'6" light action rod.

What do you guys think?

Will also use this perch fishing when I head north.
