Daiwa T-Series Casting Rod?

Featured Replies

These rods "look" awesome, but just wondering how people like them and how they compare to the other rods in this price range. I am trying to say under $80. I am looking at getting a medium heavy so am also wondering if they are more on the heavy side or are a true medium heavy. Any info you can share would be great.

Daiwa rods are pretty "true" a medium is definitely a medium. I might suggest you look at Kittery Trading Post, they have the Tierra for $40-47 then a 17% discount on top of that. The Tierra and the T are the same rod, just cork vs. split EVA. Oh and free shipping.

I have a 6'6" M Tierra I use for Jerks/TW and like it a lot.

Tierra rods are nice and you can't bet that price. I have 2 tierra rods and they both perform very well.

Having said that i also will endorse the H2O ethos rod from academy (59.99) and the abu garcia vendetta( 79.99) line of rods. All within your budget range.
