$20 dollar difference. Is the arbor worth the difference?

I owned the Arbor, President, and President XT all at the same time and in terms of function, there isn't $.05 difference from one to another. Just choose the lightest one with the line capacity you're looking for.

I have two prez's and two arbors...decent reels. The prez's are smoother I think, but the arbors casts better.

I just got an Arbor, and I really like the way it handles line. I got the smallest one, the 30, and it fits the bill perfectly as an ultralight/dropshot reel for me. I realise

The larger ones, I just don't see having a use for. Most of my reels I don't have much problem with line management, but I guess if you're trying to use heavier than 10# flouro on a spinning reel, it would definitely help.

Presidents are nice quality, but they aren't too different from any other reel. The arbor is a sort of "technique specific" reel, which it definitely does make a difference when using flouro to have that bigger spool.
