Hello all, my question is. I have 17ft monark bassboat that I tow on the bumper hitch. Should I be using something like a Reese hitch connected to the frame? Since it's an aluminum boat I should be ok?

No. You need a frame mounted hitch. You might get away with a bumper hitch for a year or two but eventually you'll have problems. Been there--done that.

Urp is right, I towed from my bumper for a couple years and couldn't figure out why my trailer tires kept wearing out. Got a hitch now and they're fine.
