Can anyone tell me anything about these?

I've seen so many variations of these that I don't know what is what. If I go on Amazon, everything says "American Optics", when the actual name of the company is American Optical. But the reviews are great, saying it's the real deal.

I've found some on Ebay that seem legit and in the description it describes how the real military issue sunglasses don't have "AO" stenciled on the lens as this would be against specification, but when you go on American Optical's actual website, there are pictures that have "AO" stenciled on the lens, and pictures without.

I just want to make sure I get the real thing and not some counterfeit version, but I also don't want to buy directly from American Optical's website and grossly over pay for these sunglasses.
