Lake Of The Ozarks Help!

Featured Replies

Iv fished this lake for many years but i now have a boat to fish on, i will be by mile marker 75. Any information anyone can give me or any spots would be awesome

I don't fish that far up very often but have at times. Lots of good creeks in that area - Cole Camp, Turkey, Deer, Buffalo. All of them are pretty popular. A little further down lake around Rainey has some really good fishing.

That area can be pretty shallow in spots, especially with the winter drawdown every year.

Normally, you'll have a shallow bite. Current is a big deal up there. When the current runs, the bass tend to eat more around the moving water esp. the points that offer an ambush. The entrance of creeks can be tricky when the water is down so take it easy. During the drawdown, you can learn the system for navigation much easier, but do be careful. X2 on the creeks mentioned.
