Can anyone comment on these rods? The components look great and I like every Shimano rod I've owned...

I had one the only thing I can complain on is it being a 2 Piece rod. They can come apart from a to hard of a cast but other than that it was perfect for me.

What brand of rod? It must have been a cheap rod. I have never had that happen (fingers crossed) that the top half came off, but they can loosen. When I use my 2 piece rods, which is quite often, I check the condition of the joint after every 10 casts or so. Most of the time no adjustments need to be made.

The two piece crucials look awesome.
