New 1Oz. Heddon Chug N Spook??

Featured Replies

Picked one up today, supposed to pop water while having a walk the dog action. havent used it yet, i was wondering if anyone has had success with this thing, its just so big and heavy, an inch longer than the original spook. almost thought it was a saltwater bait lol

Sounds too big to me, probaby perfect for those Lanier Spots you have. I dont understand why everything is made so stupidly heavy and large now. The one knocker would be great in a super spook jr. size.

When you see a 3lb bass choke down a 8" Hudd that weighs 5ozs it tends to change your perspective on what a big bait is. I'm not saying big baits are right for every situation but they are much more effective not only for size but numbers than most people realize especially large topwaters. That bait would be a mid size bait in my line-up.
