i was wondering if anyone has made an injector? i want to make my own but not really sure where to start. if some has made one and would like to help me with what materials i need. it would be much appreciated.

I have made several of them from cathetor injectors that I get from my vet. A compression fitting around the brass tube is necessary for a good job.

Be very careful that the material you use can handle the heat of the plastic. If not, it won't be pretty.

well i guess the one i made wasnt thick or strong enough. it busted on me.i always have gloves on too but for some reason i didnt last night my own stupidity P1010194erew.jpg

My home made ones sometimes develop a weak spot after about 20 uses. When I see a color change in the material, I toss it in the trash and pull out a new one as they only cost a couple of bones to build.

That looks like it freaking hurts!!!!!! Sorry to see that. I've been there so I know your pain. To me, it is very much worth the investment of getting good injectors from one of the guys like Bears, Basstackle or Del. I think Lurecraft even sells them now. Well worth the money.
