Thx for the replies guys. Looks like a technique I should add to the arsenal. Any other suggestions? What size line on the bait caster set up?

i really dont like fairy wands(spinning rods) but ill use em with 8lb test or less. i have drop shotted on a baitcaster spooled with 10lb sunline sniper fluoro and killed it. no reason why you cant ds with a baitcaster.
