  1. Thats what I thought is one person would have to sit towards the front to get on plane but it would be possible. I would say about 50% of the time we have 3 people so its not the norm but it still happens enough to where i wanted to make sure it could get on plane. I would like to get a bigger boat but was hoping a smaller boat would do until i can save up the money for a bigger boat.
  2. I am looking at a nitro 640 lx with a 50 hp motor. My question is with that hp would I be able to get on plane with 3 people in it.

  11. I bought a new boat without a Fish Finder so I'm looking at getting a new one. I had narrowed it down to the Humminbird 386 gps/fishfinder combo with the lakemaster chip but then was looking at the Fishing Hot Spots chip and it seems to have more features. I know they only work in Lowrance units so I would have to get a different Fish Finder if I got the Fishing Hot Spots chip. My question is what one does everyone think is the best map chip? Im mostly concerned with how accurate they are and then the features come second. I have checked and all the lakes and rivers i fish are in both chips and on the Lakemaster chip they are in HD.
  12. I was looking at buying a humminbird from there closeout section online. It says with most of them that they are head unit only. What other things would i have to buy to get it running? Im just looking at a 385ci combo so no down imaging or side imaging.

  21. Just bought my first bass boat last month and was wondering how much it would cost to get insurance on it so i could fish FLW BFL tournaments with it next year. Its a 1985 Ranger 350v with a 150 mercury. Would it be possible to get insurance in the range of $20-30 a month or will it be more expensive than that? Thanks

  23. I have a couple questions about the BFL wild card event. 1) Is it similar to the regional in that they group 4-5 divisions together and have the event or is there just one big wild card event for all the divisions? 2) If you fished co angler during the 5 division events can you switch over to boater for the wild card or vice a versa? thanks in advance for the responses
