Greetings fellow anglers. I am entering my second season as a tournament angler and I am diving in head first this year. I already have a packed tournament schedule and I have generated a letter for partnership that I would like to ask of you all to critique for me and provide me with your input. Thank you!

Happy Fishing!

Jim

My .02
First off, take your personal info off a public forum. The world doesn't need your phone# and address.
Secondly,So what.
You've tourney fished 1 season and placed a couple times. (Looks like you want free stuff)What do you bring to the table?
I intend this to be constructive, so don't take it as an insult. I'm also wondering what you mean by "partnership". You're entering you're 2nd season at a competitive level. Anyone can fish competitively if they have the funds to do so.I think you need alot more creativity to make up for lack of tourney experience to get your foot in the door.

FYI, Me, I've been tourney fishing for 8 years. Listed as a top money winner in my region, and have no sponsors. Never tried. I feel if I'm good enough, they will notice me.
Anyone?LOL
Is "basstiality" the same as sleeping with the fishes?

Your both way more experienced than I am, but I'll offer my two cents anyway in case it might help a little. The personal info being removed from on line does sound like a smart idea. But if I understand this right, then marketing yourself as a good advertising tool for a sponser seems smart to me. Also a willingness to do some show and tells for the sponser, in say stores and malls might also help.

I think to a sponser it's all about the bottom line, and if you can convince them having you onboard will help increase that bottom line. Being famous would be great. But being willing to sign products and talk them up pointing out all the pros of their products would help too I would think.

I hope my two cents worth helps. Though I am no expert and my opinion may only be worth two cents. Lol

PS I would avoid the word partnership if I were you. It sounds too much like you think you are their equal instead of an employee. Just a thought.
