Drop shot with a berkley 3" gulp minnow. Kinda startled me a little... didn't expect an almost 2 foot fish on the end of my line. I was fishing a pond near my house and this bit! Afraid it didn't live. It sucked the bait all the way down into the gut. Died within a few minutes after landing. I was unaware that Northern Pike were this far south in Va.
