Hey guys, I went kayak fishing today.. I am from Boston and recently got really into fishing and didnt have a scale to weigh this fish.. In my opinion the picture from my iPhone does it no justice, but I was wondering what the bass community thinks it is based off of their prior experiences... I told myself just from holding the fish it was at least 5 pounds.. 6 on the highside.. need some help from you guys

Yeah, it looks pretty big. This one was over 5, so yours is at least that, if not more.

I caught this on just a t-rigged 5' perfect plastic worm green on top half and white on the bottom half.. I was on the kayak casting into shoreline cover.. safe to say I thought i was going to "need a bigger boat"

Great fish...this wasn't a Charles River fish? (since u say ur from Boston) Was it? Impressive if from the Charles. Impressive regardless. I'd say that is the body of an easily 6lbs bass...I'd love to see it's belly view but I know most bass around here in Mass right now are very fattened up ready for the spawn. (Don't forget we get a very late spawn ppl, this year's been warm so starting to see beds which is early for here, still don't see them rly starting til the 21st or whenenver that new moon is). If it was fattened up, coulda been 7 pounds. that's a big old head and a long body, grrreat ****!
The perfect worm is just a straight tailed senko style bait, right? Funny u say that cuz I have NEVER been a fan of weighted t-rigging a straight tail worm but I've had amazing success so far this year with it. Did u mean T-rigged w/ weight or w/ out?
