Any one wear the Oakley polarized glasses I know alot of people wear the del mars and other fishing based glasses but anyone go with Oakley how do you like them? I just ordered some Oakley fives squared with the gray polarized lens mostly because I get an awesome discount on Oakley as long as there all black pretty much but im gonna use them for fishing as well just wondering if anyone uses Oakley lenses.

My son has a pair of Oakley radars for baseball. They are very durable, scratch resistant, and have a good warranty. They are also EXPENSIVE at $189+

Is your discount a military/law enforcement discount? if so, I would jump at them. Their polarization/lense quality is not up to a Maui Jim but a very good product in my opinion.

I have a pair I wear when i'm not fishing, and doing other stuff in the sun. They're great lenses for doing everyday things, and look good too. They're not as clear though (not glass) but they're hard to break, and nice and light! I also like o-matter, and being able ton interchange lenses.

But when i'm doing anything when i'm on the water, or out all day in the sun, I wear my costas. My eyes dont hurt nearly as bad at the end of the day with Costas

They do offer gray lenses with matte black frames, only the Costa logo in shiny I believe.

I dont know if I would trust a fishing/outdoors based sunglass for anything military, even if they were certified though.

Regardless, you'll love the oakleys. I love mine, and am thinking about another pair because of how light they are, and they're style.

The reason why the armed forces guys get to use Oakleys. Most of there glasses have a ANSI Z87.1 rating. Which means they are like safety glasses you would wear around the shop. They just tinted and look better.

I have a pair of Pitbulls they are now a year old and not a scratch one on them used everyday. The coverage is great all around the eye. They are a x-large frame which I need yet still a bit snug. The Unobtanium is awesome for no slippage when sweating. I use the Black Iridium Pol. but this lens has a reflective outer coating they get dark another plus for my eyes. I tried & tried numberous Costa's but they dont have much in big sizes I think the people at BPS & Gander got tired of me returning them. If my Pitbull frames had Costa lenses and Oakley darkness.Id be set.
