Connected Lakes is my favorite lake, just a group of small gravel pits, no bigger than 100 acres. No monsters, but lots of 2 - 5 pound largemouths and the odd 6 - 7.

The diver frog definately has a great action and gets some mean strikes. The legs should NOT be stored with other plastics though, and they are on the flimsy side. Action and weed resistance are good.
Have not tried the craw.

I fish it, monster smallies. 4 pounders.I have always been curious about the crawfish clacker, but just can't seem to find many people that have fished it....

I along with a few buddies own several of the frogs. Have tried them manytimes on lakes where bass were on a insane frog bite and nothing. They look sweet in the water but that doesnt translate into bites for me.
The craws look cool but i decided against them since it looks like I'd lose it within 10 minutes on the river here.

The bait monkey got me last year on both of these. And like others have said, they look good...
The Frog: The action "looks" awesome and realistic. Unfortunately, the blow-ups have been on the landing after a cast (which in my mind, the bass would have hit almost anything that hit the water). I have not had any strikes as I've worked the R2S frog, whereas, I've have plenty of success working a Spro or Madd Maxx. If I lost the R2S frog, would I buy another? No. I will stick with the other hollow-belly frogs.
The Craw: I have NOT mastered this lure. I've tried to use it like a jig with no success. In the swimming pool, this things falls at various angles - landing on it's back 50% of the time. Hopping it and stopping = twists and turns. I've tried swimming it and it twists and turns as well. I was using 50# braid. I bought the earlier version that did not have the weed guard. I'm disappointed at this point, but I had very high expectations. It's made with high quality components - I just haven't had success. If a jig bite is on, it's hard to tie something else on to try. As far as cranking, I can't imagine ripping it through grass or weeds when a square bill, wiggle wart, or lipless crank can do better.

I own the Frog and have had zero bites on it. I just got the whopper plopper in the loon color...pretty awesome bait but nothing on it as of yet. My buddy owns the craw and it looks wicked but I don't think he's done anything on it as of yet.....I love these baits but haven't seen any action yet....
