How To Reduce The Weight Of The Alabama Rig...
Try trading out the hooks in the kit for unweighted hooks. The wire and everything else is heavy enough to stay down in the water. I might be wrong but that should have nothing to do with the action of the swimbaits.

Pond Fishing Tips.
I fish alot of ponds myself. If the bass are too small they might not hit those big topwaters try to use a little rooster tail or a small shaky head. If the bass are bigger try a trick worm or just something that only a bass would bite.

Reel Help
Part # 64 is slightly sticking up. J francho suggested that I applied to much grease. I put alot into the reel underneath parts 47-51. Could that be the problem and if so is there an easy way to remove that grease or will I need to take the whole thing apart and clean the parts individually.

Reel Help
I made sure everything was put back correctly an it was. Tried it and found a better way to describe the problem. The reel does fine on loose line with no tension, but once there is tension the handle still turns, but not very smooth, and the spool is not activated. Thanks for the help

Reel Help
I spooled on 12 lb suffix elite floro. I took the reel handle completely off and back on checking for loose parts , requested by Abu Garcia FAQ. Seemed to fix it for a min but when I tried testing the drag line was coming of. I had the drag all the way up. Also the spool control still just allows the lightest of lures fall right to the ground when I test it. Thanks
