I am wanting to get into kayak fishing. That way I dont have to load up the boat every time I go fishing by myself. I think it would be great to be able to paddle around the banks of my local lake and creeks fishing. Especially at night. And there it is, figuring out how to rig lights on the kayak for night fishing. Have to have a front red/green light and a rear light for night fishing. Have any of yall done this? If so I would love to see pics of it and any pics of other ways you have modified your yaks for fishing. I am trying to find a cheap used yak before I go and buy a new one...Cant afford a lot but have found a few for around $200 new. Looking forward to seeing your pics. Thanks.

You DO NOT want bow marker lights on a kayak. Another boat will mistake you for a larger vessel. Yakattack makes the item you want: http://kayakfishingg...agandlight.aspx

yep, the light is self contained and slips into one of the rod holders, add a lite on your head to see with and you are set
