I stopped by Gander mountain this afternoon and picked up some Yum Dingers to try out. Also, they have "Black Magic Plastics" brand of "senkos". I got a package of 8 or $1.99 and thought for the price I'd give them a try. According to the package, they are a 'guide series' Gander Mountain brand on senko knockoffs. Has anyone had any luck with them? The sales guy said they were a little lighter than Yamamotos and about the same weight as Yum Dingers. These are also the first Yum Dingers I've bought.

I have used the Gander Mt brand and the yum dingers. I think they are made by the same company. Same colors same slit on one side. The only difference is the yum brand is doused in salt. I could be wrong, but they seem to be the same bait to me.  And to answer your other question, yes I have had luck with the Gander brand.

I've used the Yum Dingers in just one body of water and I got the impression that they did just as well as the Senko would have. I have full confidence in them. They're about 15% less weight than the Senko.

I personally would go with the salty shimmy worm by either Terry's Tackle or Schubert's Lures. It should be listed as one of those names on the package. The company was sold and the name was then changed. It came out at the exact same time as the Senko but really never got the exposure as the Yamamoto but it does last longer. It even had the same action as the Senko. Being a little cheaper per pack it might be worth a sort for some of you.

Ganders Guide Series just went up in price in Michigan, they are now 4.99 / pack. I have have used Yums and Yamamotos, I have had far better results with Ganders brand, as long as the correct color is used.

I see you accept payment through Paypal, wonderful. I am going to get together with my fishin partner and give your 4" *** a try. Seems that Gander has a problem keeping 4" Green Pumpkin in stock. Been waiting for 4 weeks for them to re-stock and finally bought 6 packs today. I got 5 tournaments over the next 10 days so I needed to replenish inventory.

Thanx
