I have an early 1990's honda 4 storke 15 horsepower engine on my boat and im having some problems with it. I can get it to start up and idle fine but as soon as i shift it into gear it shuts off. Can anybody tell me what the problem is? I have a week off and was hoping to get some fishing in.
thanks

Can you turn the prop by hand?
Fishing is my idea of a good lip piercing!
I have also found that when it comes to friends, a good friend will come and bail you out of jail, but best friends will be right there beside you saying d**n that was fun !!!

It sounds like the idle may be set a little low, or the timing may be a little retarded, has anyone messed with any of the settings?
It could also be a restriction in the fuel delivery system, have you checked your fuel supply system? the whole thing?
