  7. Ive owned boats for around 15 yrs. Never anywhere as hot as arizona in summer. Middle of summer it can be 115 to 120 driving on the freeway home. I repack my bearings every spring. I read on the internet they should not be more than 120F but mine average 135F with a heat gun driving 3 hrs at a time one way in those summer temps. Should i be worried that they are averaging those temps? Thanks.
  8. Got on some frog bass today in the jon boat instead of bass boat. Hit the river backwaters and live target white frog seemed best.
  9. Got out to one of the lakes out here in Az. Got on an early morning popper bite. Main lake was 64. Coves were 66ish. First cove saw 3 fish over 3lbs cruising surprised they didnt eat my senko. Got into a dif cove with dirty water at south end of the lake water was 67. Started throwing a poppper. First fish crushed it got it up to boat and my net got stuck in my rods. Gambled went to grab her she jumped and ripped hooks out. Easy 5+ saw a ton of fish in the 64-65 degree water moving up some males on beds and females right by. Water so clear its easy to spot em. Endded the day with around 25 fish. Popper, senkos, nes rig, soft jerkbait and swimjig did the damage.
  10. Haha right i been catching them since end of february. Was going to take the boat to the lower colorado but severe storms and flood warnings over that valley said nope went and shore fished instead around here.
  11. Ya she seems to enjoy it still trying to get her to hold a fish is tough. The little baby bass she will hold with me and throw back lol. Thanks!

  14. Found this gem on one of my go pro videos. Was having an epic day of flipping and hooked up and my daughter got to catch her first and probably her only"20lb bass". Priceless moment when she yells get the net! Its a GIANT its a 20lber LOL. Enjoy the video. Sorry if you are watching on your computer and the quality is bad I took it off my FB and uploaded from my phone.

Originally from gladwin spent most of time fishing lakes all over central Michigan all the way to the bridge. I know alot of unknown smallie waters and largies. Little baby lakes with huge smallmouth gotta love it. I try to come home once a yeat for a few weeks to a month. Probably only can do 1 week this year ???.
