  1. So there is a thick washer under the sleeve that slides inside the one way clutch and a thinner washer on top of the sleeve. I added an additional washers same size and thickness as the existing and there was no change in drag pressure. Only thing noticeable was I lost star drag travel, significantly. Just eyeballing the oem and upgraded drag washers they look the same thickness. Yes I assembled the drag washers properly.
  2. I upgraded the OEM Rulon drag system in my Lews speed spool LFS 2nd gen and can’t seem to get the right amount of drag pressure. When fully locked down with the other end of the line tied to a scale with a direct pull I get only 1.94-2.00lbs of drag. The carbontex drag washers are from HPR bearings. Can’t seem to figure out what’s wrong.
  3. I recently replaced the stock OEM drag system in my Lews speed spool lfs. I noticed when the drag is fully backed off that there is more pressure than the stock rulon drag system. Im able to move the spool by hand fully backed off but there is a noticeable amount of friction. Is this common with carbontex drag washers? I would assume the washers have increased drag stack height.
  4. @bulldog1935 Alright well thanks so much for the input, you’ve been very helpful.
  5. @bulldog1935 Would you say it has a tighter fit with handle nuts, more secure?
  6. @bulldog1935 How does this tool compare to let’s say some quality thin wall 10mm sockets?
  7. Have you used it on any lews baitcasters by any chance?
  8. Looking to get a new set of jis screwdrivers to work on my lews reels. Do these slim shank ones fit well into recessed side plates?
  9. Has anyone used the KAKEDZUKA DESIGN WORKS KDW Cross Wrench?
  10. I plan on trying some ice fishing for the first time, any advice on where to start?
  11. Got some Z Man Chattershads for $3.74 a piece. Fell in love with the Elaztech but haven’t used these yet.
  12. Does this still look good to use? It is milky in color and the rim is a bit crusty.
  13. Are Fuji SIC guides really as brittle to impact as people say they are? How hard of an impact can cause them to crack/break? Looking at the Shimano Expride B Series casting rods in particular.
