line recommendations
I'm looking for a little help to match up the best type of line for the below applications. I don't necessarily need brands, rather type and test (i.e. 14 lb mono, 20 braid, etc). 1. Spinning reel for shallow crankbaits (3-8 ft cranks) 2. Spinning reel for live bait rig (leaches/crawlers on lindy rigs) 3. Casting reel for Carolina rigs Thanks in advance.

Smelly Jelly
Slop it on your fingers and work it all over your bait (including hooks). I've been using for 2-3 years now and I love this stuff. The only problem you're going to have is getting it off of your fingers.

Getting My first big bass mounted w/ measurements.
Lax or Fittante! I have seen both of these gentlemens work! Excellent is the only word to come to mind! It really all depends on what kind of mount you prefer. Do you want reproduction to "display" the fish (i.e. wide open mouth, flared gill plates and splayed fins), or do you want the natural look (to show the fish as it might look if it were swimming). Lax repos usually have the flared gill plate/splayed fins. (think turkey mounts) Fitantte repos usually have the more natural look...mouth not open quite as wide, gill plates not flared out (as much), and the fins are pushed back in a streamline fashion (as if swimming) Both have good/great paint jobs. Not original fish, but nobody will ever be able to tell...or would care for that matter. www.laxreproductions.com www.fittantereplicas.com

Bass Weight?
The big one came off of an original Bagley Killer B in Chart off of a wind blown point in 3 ft of water. The other one was a Texas rigged 3.25 Yum craw bug in Watermelon on a weed edge in 10ft of water.

Bass Weight?
I caught 2 decent sized Lg Mouth Bass (for Northern Wisconsin) last weekend, but didn't have a scale with me. Wondering if there was any type of formula using length and girth to get a weight. If not, does anyone have any guesstimates on the weight of these? 1. 21" length, 17.5" girth 2. 19" length, 15" girth

Need advice on rod/reel usage
New to Bass fishing and have a rod/reel usage question. I have a 7' med/heavy baitcast rod with a 4.4:1 ratio quantum energy reel. Any advice on the best usage for this combo including what type/lb line to use. Thanks in advance for any help.
