  1. Hey guys, Thanks for all the help. Nice to know I won't be starting completely over With that mind, any advice on moving from large lakes to smallish rivers? Or, for that matter, where does everyone like to fish in central Texas? Scott

  3. Hey all, I'm new to central Texas and hope to get out on the water here soon. I come from east Tn and have a few things in my tackle box as is, but don't know what's applicable here and what isn't. Add to that the fact that I didn't get out much in the last couple years and my existing lures are probably worthless. Also, my primary experience in TN was on the lakes and I'll be fishing a lot of rivers here (San Gabriel, Colorado, Guadalupe, etc). So, with these facts in mind, what would you use to stock the default tackle box? Also, suggestions on where to fish or how to fish cent Texas rivers would be appreciated. Thanks all! Scott ETA: Just realized I didn't give any species info. I'll fish for about anything, but would like advice on everything from Bass (Large and small mouth, black, white, etc) on down to panfish. I love to fish for most everything.
