  1. I am currently running 4 group 27 Interstate batteries on 16' flat bottom. It seemed a little sluggish with max speed of 4.0mph with a maxxum80 rear and maxxum70 bow. I dont feel confident that I can go on larger reservoirs(>200acres)and fish all day. I have a cracked casing and dry cell on one of the batteries from when a tiedown broke the battery was damage during transport. However my above situation was before this happened. My question is since I need to replace batteries anyway what would be my best option for a 24V system? I am more concerned with weight however the batteries are currently in the very back of boat and I am not against moving them forward. The boat is a 16' with 51" floor 64" width.
  2. I have an electric setup with 4 batteries and am looking for recommendations. Onboard is not nescessary. I am looking for inexspensive without doing harm to my batteries(4- group 27 interstate). Thanks in advance.
  3. saw that but wasn't for sure. I finally got in touch with DNR and they say they will send a ranger out to inspect and determine year and make. appreciate the help.
  4. I recently picked up an old boat that was a former fish and wildlife forestry boat. I am trying to register the boat but do not have a hull id for it. To apply for a hull id I need to know the make and model. The only info I can get from the old tag is as follow: 40 HP max 1500 lbs cap. model # CF-1651 This is a 16ft alum flat bottom with a drop in front deck. If anyone can help identify the manf. I would be grateful.

  6. I have an Evinrude badged trolling motor dated as 1999. The model# is BFL4PH. I know it is 24v but can't find any info on it. Figured I would check with you guys.
