Well I called hummingbird today,,,,,,,,,,,, They told me to send proof of purchase and a new transducer would be on the way............................ Hummingbird customer service is 1st class........................Now as for the grammar police I placed a few extra ..............................,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,??????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!((((()))))))::::::::;;;;;;;"""""""''''''............. so if you wouldnt mind please place them in the apropriate places in my original post and if there are any left you can keep them for yourself or save them for any of my future post because I am positive that I will continue to forget to put some..........or,,,,,,,,,,,,,,or????????????or!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!or some other marks where they should be,as for my spelling thats another story so insted of starting a ticking contest with anyone on here I apoligize for my freakin ignorance (spelling) and I'll just laugh this off as ya"ll just pickin on me...............................LOL ;D ;D

I got out to the lake this morning ran over to my honey hole made two casts and my month old trolling motor quit hoping it was just a fuse that I didnt have any of with me I said oh well we will just cruise around and mark some new spots with my 2 week old 797 c2 SI so we cut across the lake going about 40mph in 50+ ft of water when I lose the bottom lock so I knew the the breakaway mount had done just that because it happenend yesterday so I stopped reached behind the boat to pop it back in place so I reach down there only to find a wire and nothing else thats right a 2 week old transducer somewhere on the bottom of Ky lake I was so ticked that I couldnt even speak my son wouldnt even look at me so I said were done we loaded up headed home fixed the breaker on the tm priced a new transducer 150.00 hopfully hummingbird will work with me on this because it was the mount that broke off the screws and part of the mount was still there it just broke the center of it out so I email them and hope to hear from them soon I guess thats what I get for not going to church today

I was going to buy it with the nvb but they didnt have it so I just bought the card I would use 99% of the time I guess I'll just have to chalk this up as a lesson learned and just have to live with changeing cards as nessesary but thats a small price to pay for having the technology that this thing has.

Well I put the 797 in the water today and all I can say is these are unbeliveable I went to a spot I usally fish in the mornings I could tell that it had a rocky bottom by feel but my old unit never showed anything other than a hard bottom well on the 797 I could clearly see several good sized rock piles scattered over the whole area which makes me like that spot even more and the balls of baitfish you see on this thing are as clear as can be I was using the split screen and there were several things you would see on the SI that the regular sonar didnt show all I can say is so far I love it although I have to move my transducer because I lose the bottom as soon as i plane off I went and bought a SD card today so I can take pics with it I dont like having to take my Hot Maps card out to use the SD card I would have thought that the hot maps would load on a hard drive on the unit and you could remove the card either it dont work that way or I'm doing something wrong but other than that I would recomend buying one normally I couldnt afford it but Ive been doing some work on the side thats let me upgrade several (toys) on my boat.

I just put a797c2si on mine two days ago I'll hit the water saturday morning I cant freaking wait to turn that thing on I probally wont even wet a line I'll be sure to post and let you know how it is also theres a forum at yahoo side imaging that shows pics from people who have them they are pretty interesting you should check it out.

these are BFL tourneys in the LBL division this is the last one of the year its out of Ky Dam Marina Sept 29-30 I'm fishing this as a coangler I'm in 43rd need to finish 40th or better to fish the reginoial I might get in anyway but would rather have a boater to sign up with for a guarenteed status I thought I had this taken care of back in December when I signed up but the boater that signed up with me quit after two tourneys so I've had to beg for a boater since the third one.

after you load everything in your boat the very next thing you must get is a 5 BASS LIMIT

We camped at Hillmans Ferry a couple weks ago and was putting the boat in at their crappy ramp they have there it is near the beach I was backing the boat off the trailer and turning to tie off at the dock when my wife screamed to look out I looked and just about crapped my pants when three kids came swimming out of the clearly marked off beach aera and were only a couple of feet behind my boat and the never missed a beat they just kept swimming to the ramp between my boat and the trailer after very LOUDLY voicing my opinion the kids climbed on the dock after I pulled my truck out and came back to the dock I politely told them (while gritting my teeth) what could have happenend me and my wife pulled off and I'll be damned if they didnt start swimming there again while another boat was pulling in I really expected to see body parts floating around when we got back needless to say I was shook up for awhile and couldnt hardly fish so I guess what I'm trying to say is I hope they arent the future of boaters to come.
