  1. found a nice spot on the chatahoochee river next to my house in atlanta was was talking to a few guys that where fishing for carp the say the catch 6-17 lb carp and cat fish i asked if they ever saw bass and they said yes. So when fishing for bass on a river what aprouch should be taken do you cast down stream and reel up. and should i bee looking for cover like in a lake???
  2. I ment if you use a peice of line attached to the main hook and pull something else like a worn or somethng else.
  3. do you put the trailer hook right over the other hook or do you use a leader??
  4. anyone use them they where on sale at walmart for .97 cents from 2.98 so i picked up the last one i found light green.
  5. while in fla a few months ago i saw the same thing being new to bass fishing i threw everything at this school of fish. turned out to be some alge eating fish the locals called mulets or something
  6. Thanks i will try to find the toad hooks before my next time out and when you say "bead" do you mean like a split shot weight???
  7. How do you rig the horny toads do you t-rig them or c-rig them or what and what types of hook do you use

If i had to guess i would as about 7-10 acres and it is very low usually there is a island in the middle but now i can walk to the island and everything that was underwater when pond is full has a lot of old spwaning beds average 10" wide so i know something is making the beds i WILL get fish out of there. even if my wife threatins to leave me because if there to much LOL ;D
  9. I have goten what i think are bits and when i throw a spoon or the little flys with the spinners on them i can see the fish following it somethimes but no bits I know there just has to be some desent fish in there and i will keep trying untill i get something out that DAM pond LOL

I fish or sould i say i wet my lures at a local pond here in atlanta for the last 3 months for about two hours a day and 4 hours on the weekends and have not caught anything but a suntan. i know i just have to get that first one out the way and the rest will be easy but until that happens it just sucks. i tryed top waters, buzz, spinners, t-rigs, c-rigs, and nothing has worked. can someone please come here and prove me worng. i cant ask the locals because i never see anyone fishing here( maybe thats a hint lol) but the pond is a nice size and walking distance for my house. maybe someone knows how i can get it stocked and it will be my little secret. of course i will tell you guys ;D. please some one put me out of my misarie
  12. they say fish stumps and laydowns but fishing from the shore i lost alot of lures trying to get them close to the stumps. i lost a few jigs and some spinners i havn't tryed weight less worms or tubes. would this be a good idear??

    I have a question about used plastics i bought some from a pwan shop for penny some zoom yum and berklys all different kinds some were kind of dry is it a good idea to spray some fish attractant( Baitmate) into the bag and seal the bag back up.
  14. how do you rig a tube skirt up or down and i will be fishing from shore at a local pond with no cover only a island in the mibble and a few blown down trees near the middle
