floodwater question
I live about 100 yards away from a small pond in a golfcourse which also has a lake. We called and asked if I could fish the pond and the manager said no cause of insurance issues :'( ( yeah like im gonna get hit by a golfball :-?) anyway do you guys generally get fish out of these? cause I might run out there tonight with my baitcaster and a plastic worm and check

Best Bait For Carp
I fish for carp on a small river and all I really use is canned corn or fresh sweet corn, probably doesnt matter but how are you rigging the bait? cause that could make all the difference all I do is lay it on the bottom I really dont know any others. good luck!

Most humiliating experiance while fishing !!!
Everythings funny ;D I was in the car with my brother once and I pointed at something and brought my hand back down and ripped a rapala off his air freshener and looked to see it very deep in my pointer finger which scared the crap out of me. (Now I am very quick to take the lures down from there when he puts them there) And while driving back to the house he slows down because some guy is ridin' our tail :-/. All the nurses at the ER said, "did you catch the fish?" and I had to say I wasnt fishing :'(

How to fish Milfoil
Weedless plastics such as texas rigged powerbait. The ponds I fish are horribly weeded in with much more than that and I have great success. ;D

Picked up some Senkos...
Wacky rig them, means just thread the hook right through the middle so both ends hang down.

Is fireline harder to cast?
Ok I just got a new abu garcia 5500 c3 and it is spooled with mono and then mostly fireline on top. I also own a crappy old baitcaster that has mono on it. I can cast really well with it but not the garcia reel. Is this due to the fireline or just because I dont have enough practice? I have the brake wide open on the crappy one but the brake set normally on the garcia. It seems like on the garcia the line just flys under my finger and there is no stopping it. :-[ Any suggestions? :'(
