  1. Here's one: http://www.boondocksct.com/boondocks/product.asp?s_id=0&dept_id=3118&pf_id=PAAAIANGPBGIGODF& I'd like it much better with a pistol grip.
  2. Thanks! The Lighting Rod, medium-heavy was the best I have found so far with pistol grip. I'd really prefer the shortest rod (so helpful with my relativly awkward cast.) Is there a 6' rod with fast heavy tip and pistol grip, or could I have a normal length grip modified shorter and fatter into a pistol grip?
  3. Hi. I'm looking for some fishing equipment and I would really like to know what you thought. I live on the Delaware coast and usually fish off a bridge that straddles an inlet from the sea. We get flounders, blues, perch and more. I'm in a wheelchair so it's not as easy for me to use a spinning reel, and I tried out a casting reel and really liked it. Also I can't use both arms at the same time to cast so I'm interested in a pistol grip pole. I found this rod and reel, do you think they would work well together? Daiwa Advantage Baitcasting Reel: Action - M/ML \ Bearings - 5BB, 1RB \ Gear Ratio - 6.3:1 \ Weight - 8.5oz \ Line Capacity - 12/180, 14/150 Berkley® Lightning Rod® IM6 Casting-Pistol Grip: Lure Wt - 1/4 -1 1/4oz \ Length 5'6'' or 6' \ Rod Power - MH Pistol The lure weight on that pole says 1\4 to 1 1\4oz, but I might normaly use a 2oz weigth with live minnow or shrimp bait, would that still be ok? And one more question if I may, I would like to cast the rod with my right hand and reel with my left. Which would I need for a casting reel, right or left handed? Thank you for your time, and any help would be most appreciated. Jay
