The number on the foot is 040005, now does that mean it was made in 2004 for sale in 2005? Anyway I suppose it would be a good back up reel. Hi, I am new to the forum but thought I would just fall right in and see if there are any ambassadeur fans here, that like them for bass fishing. I used to have a old 5000 C that worked very well for me, but I have a chance to get a good deal on this ambassadeur but cannot find a thing about it anywhere!! I would like to find out 1. specs 2. where I can find schematics and last of all 3. Can anyone make out this Model name---it before the 500. It looks like CIXXCIR but that seems a little weird?
