    checked and it's PML. what the P is for, I don't know. As you say, good for jigs and plastics. Wouldn't try it around heavy cover. Thanks for the reply.

    I have recently acquired a Shimano Clarus CSC-70PML bait casting rod. 8-15lb line, 1/8-5/8 lure. Fast taper. What's the best use for this rod.
