    Thanks for the posts. I have been reading up on it all night. It just seems like there is so much to learn, some of which is hard to comprehend by just reading about it. I need to find a fishing buddy here in Texas to take me out and just show me a few things.

    I am brand new to bass fishing. Just bought rod, reel, and a ton of lure with no real clue how to use them My question is can you effectively bass fish from shore and if so what is the best echnique? Any help will be much appreciated.
