thanks, i'm looking at buying 2, one for the bow, one for the console. i mainly fish rivers and small lakes in va. water normally 40 ft. and less. i was looking at the h-bird 580 c with gps and the 565 for the bow. both have 640 x320, and are over 2000 watts. just debating on spending more for color or not?? thanks vaughn

i'm looking into upgrading my sonar. was curious if the new gps units in color are really that much better than regular units in b/w? is the gps with maps,chartplotting worth the extra 200-300 dollars? thanks vaughn
