  1. hey guys, i'm thinking about buying a new rod for some salt water fishing this summer at the coast. i live in texas so i'll be fishing in the bays and such. I'm looking for a good baitcasting rod for under $100. thanks
  2. ya it was gambler!! and yes, now that i think about it, the dollar deals do seem to smoke the big buck baits! and ya for the best action: i would say gambler is best for the money chatterbaits don't seem as good in my oppinion and the best would have to be the booya brand ones, except the are a little expensive as well.
  3. i can't remember off the top of my head, but i get them at academy in the clearance bin for $.88. not a bad deal considering the action is just as good as the original chatterbait, and in my oppinion you can fish it slower and get better action. :
  4. think it'll work prety good???
  5. ::)well lets see a pic of that yours maybe also, i'm not totally sure what is wrong with the motor, just old and i think he might have said something about the carburetor
  6. any other asking price oppinions before this thread dies?? :-?
  7. hmmm good offer, but i think i need to settle for a bit more cash :
  8. thanks guys ...of course i'd keep it if it was up to me, but it's my old man's call maybe he'll have a change of heart anyway, i was also thinking of the $1000 range also, the trailer is pretty good, has a few rust spots but not major at all, and its a Dilly if that helps any. thanks again
  9. c'mon guys! you know it's a beauty!!! ;D
  10. my dad has had this old bass boat in the garage for several years, and he's decided to let me sell it and get a new small aluminum boat for my first boat since i'm new to boating. I believe its a '75 Caravelle, has a 50 hp evinrude, been garage kept for about 5 years, doesn't run (probally needs some engine tune-up), needs new battery, but other than that i believe it's pretty clean. so my question is (drumrole please) how much do you think i can sell it for???????
  11. thanks for the replys guys, thats what i wanted to hear
  12. ...ok thanks
