Any way to identify manufacturer of boat?
I found it on the transom as stated. STBD side. Google says that DEM is starcraft, but the HIN sites I found do not match the format of the HIN found on my boat.

The HIN starts with DEM. What does that mean?

Any way to identify manufacturer of boat?
I have been given an aluminum deep-v jon boat. It is 11' 6" long as measured in the center of the boat, and 52" wide at the widest. There are two seats, and other than that I can't tell. The whole thing was painted long ago, and both label plates I found were painted over. I have been looking at pictures on line for a few days, and have not found an exact match yet? What can I do?

Give n' it up
All mine are in the Pascagoula to Gulfport area of MS. I don't have a boat or any fishing buddies so I have to find them all myself. My favorites are two ponds off of HWY 57 near I-10, and the oxbows off the Pascagoula river in Vancleave. Most of my catches are in the 1-2 Lb range but I caught one that was 6 3/4 Lbs. All the fish are in real good shape since the waters are not very pressured. Most people around here fish for catfish not Bass. Not sure how to post pics but I could do LAT/LON if anyone is in hte area and would like it.

Adding braid to my reel?
There is a small taper at around that point on the spool on my Curado. That is where I had planned on stopping at. Sound good?

Adding braid to my reel?
Thanks for the info. I'll go ahead and add some tonight. I am not even sure how much was on there to begin with. The guy at the store put the braid on for me.

Adding braid to my reel?
Hi all, great forum. I have been reading for months before I finally bought my first baitcaster. Curado 200DHSV, with 30Lb Suffix braid I have had it about 2 weeks and have been using it everyday. Of course I am getting backlash now and then, but not too often. I have had it 3 times though where it was bad enough to require cutting some line off the spool. I am just not that patient. Now that I have had to cut so much line off, is it OK to add more braid to the spool using a uni-uni knot, or am I asking for trouble?

My Website
Site design is god and easy to navigate through. I do like the use of the fluid width. it makes the most out of the space available depending on the viewers screen resolution. Few suggestions form me. 1. You do need to add a valid DOCTYPE before the <html> tag. It is necessary, and if someone tells you otherwise seek help elsewhere. 2. You will get more traffic to your site, from search engines if you give them something to index. Your home page has hardly any text on it, and to top it off there are no META tags in the header. If you don't want to clutter up the design on your home page with a bunch of text then put it under the META "description" and/or "keywords" 3. Perhaps you could extend the length of you side borders all the way to the bottom of the page. It would look more professional. Since you do have a CSS style in the header I will assume you know a little about CSS. My suggestion would be to get rid of all the <table> crap and use CSS to position all of that stuff, and define the colors and what not. It will look better and work better with all browsers. There are a few other things, but it really comes down to how clean and uncluttered you want the code to be. It doesn't really matter though.
