has anyone tried robison pond in hudson. i tried there on sunday around 4 it was so windy only stayed 2 hours with no bite this is my first spring fishing(started last summer) i think i was trying to shallow any tips thanks jason

i orderd a quantum rod from ebay when they shipped it to me it broke so the company gave me my money back and a differnt rod free of charge, its not what i wanted but its free. its a quantum pt tour edition 704f medium power fast action 6-12 line 1/8-1/2 what type of lures and techniques is this rod best used for. i wanted it for my trebble hooks and spinner baits. thanks jason

i have finaly decided on a quantum pt tour edtion spinning rod medium/heavy fast action 8-17 1/8-3/4 for every thing but my worms. should i buy a 6'6 or 7 footer. ihave used 6'6 and are real happy but ive never had a 7 ft is there any real advantage to these but distance on casting any ideas thanks jason

price rang is about 125 a set up and iam willing to buy used. i bought a daiwa theory 4000 for $40 on ebay 12# test 6'6 cabelas im6 rod it dosent cast as nice as a 15 year old daiwa my father in law gave me. i guess what my question is if i take that daiwa and put it to a heavy action 7ft rod for jigs etc. what should i do for a worm, spinner and and crank bait set ups. ill proabably switch out to a heavy line on mydaiwa 4000. but i really like useing the yozouri 8 pound test(thanks road warrior). as for the bait caister my hand eye codrination is so poor i just cant get the hang of it. thanks guys for all the help

iam new to fishing and made a rookie mistake and bought all kinds iof stuff i cant use because of my skill level ive tried to learn baitcasters but dont like them i need sugestions for three spinning rod and reel combos i would like middle of the road quality i am not going pro and some reels that cast nice and are reliable. i am in nh and dont catch big fish yet but iam hopeing to catch a keeper and i fish from a boat 90% of the time. thanks for any help it would be huge for me. jason

i have a couple of crank baits the really wobble off coures when reeling in. i have a craw on that if i cast it straight out when i reel it in its 15 feet to my left by the time i get it back. when can i do to correct this. thanks jason

RODS AR 6-18 POUNDS ON BAIT CASTERING REELS 6-12 ON SPINNING I WOULD LIKE SOME DISTANCE SINCE I FISH FROM SHORE LIKE SPINNING FOR WORMS BAIT FOR HARD LURES

2 have 2 spinning and 2 bait casters reels i live in nh and fish from shore alot i was looking at buying cabelas ripcord 30(8 dia) test braided for my bait caster what do you think for my spinning reels iam so lost with all the choices i fish heavy cover alot. thanks for any help jason
