My first post here on this site. Just wanted to say about 10 years ago I had a 14 foot aluminum deep V-hull with a 5 foot beam, had a 15 HP Mercury on it. I had a deck on the front from the bow back to about 5 or 6 inches passed the first bench seat with the underneath section used for storage. It was very stable to stand on, I'm 6'1 and about 275 lbs. and I was back then too. I fished it for about 3 years before I sold it. It had a Minn Kota Autopilot 36 lb. thrust trolling motor on it, foot controlled. I operated it from a standing position. I was comfortable to walk all over that boat from end to end, many times stepping from bench seat to seat to deck, never touching the floor between. And I know this wasn't the best idea but I occasionally had as many as 4 people in it fishing. Mostly just 2 or 3 but even with 4 it was stable.
Only thing I ever had a problem with was when I put a seat on an 11" pedestal right in the middle of the deck, I found out to get on the deck I had to step near the sides and it made the boat roll a little more than I liked, so I removed the seat and left the deck wide open instead.
