for you dog owners.
There is only one breed of dog, a GSD. Problem is finding a good one. Lots of bad breeding out there.

Whats wrong with this Bass?
An infection was my 1st call, as well. But there isn't any of the typical necrosis or redness you often see. I seem to recall something similar in a pond koi in one of my books. It wasn't a bacterial infection, either.

I'm at work, so I can't access my textbooks right now. I will try to take a look tonight. You might also want to send the pics to the TPWD as well.

vicious line conditioner
The packaging looks real similar, as do the claims. Maybe Rob Faddis will stop by and let us know what's up. http://store.jbsfishing.com/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=VF&Product_Code=A_VLC_4oz&Category_Code=A8 http://www.lineandlure.com/

Zoom Super Fluke
4/0 or 5/0 Owner Wide Gap Plus and the twist and melt coated steel leader will work fine for pickerel. I use the same stuff for northern pike up here. You can also use 40-50 lb. fluoro leader material, though that can get expensive.

yum money hound?
That thing was a total turd. ;D One of the very few baits that I picked up casted about 3 times then tossed out. This is better than that at least. You're word is worth buying at least one pack. Thanks

Whats the best method for catching Trout using a rod and reel, lures, bait?
Rooster Tail is a fast bait. For slower retrieves, or for casting upstream in current, look at Panther Martin. Mepps Aglia and Blue Fox Vibrax are good for "swinging" or quarter casting and letting the bait swing through current.

yum money hound?
Heddon made a VERY similar bait back in the early 90s. It sucked.

Strong Weedless Hooks
Thanks Wayne. These are supreme and elegantly rigged hooks. I've nevar realized much issue using an exposed hook point for wacky rigged worms, but then again, I don't drag the rig through heavy weeds either. I prefer teh the snelled hooks for the same reason as you, and would also cite the physics of the hookset as an advantage, if you are like me and cannot simply reel down on the fish, LOL. I'll have to mess around with this. Thanks for sharing it again.

Disability process ?
Your lawyer and her doctors will be your two best resources here. In the case of my wife, it took about 4 mos. to realize any kind of benefits. Her case was an injury deal, coupled with mental illness, so that may be unique. The injury piece didn't come about until she recovered, and we only fought for copays, extra medical costs, and transportation. The mental part is obviously ongoing, but suffice it to say, her doctors were instrumental in helping to demonstrate a need for help, and what we needed to do to get that help. And as far as what help she received, it took a while, but she's 1000x a better person, self employed, earning a living, and paying taxes now. So, start asking questions, and take what you need, never feel guilty about it. Good luck.

Strong Weedless Hooks
I prefer to snell this style hook. Any negatives to moving the shrink wrap weed guard down the hook shank?

How to land a muskie?
My boat is as stable as a bass boat - made to stand. Seriously, get a Fish Grip, its $12, and it works:

Tungsten wieght sale
I'd heard that Tungsten itself can be toxic, but the sinkers are made of a tungsten nickel alloy that is completely inert. And yeah, the Yum weights do suck.

Yanks put it to the Sox AGAIN!
Not all Yankees fans are big mouths. I look forward to the Red Sox knocking off the Halos, and meeting them in the ALCS. The AL East is where its at, and the NY and Boston is where all the real talent ends up. This years playoffs should prove to be one of finest in years.

If you could spend one summer
Its funny that you picked your home lake. I was going to say the same thing, but my home lake, or Port Bay on Lake Ontario. Its where I spent my summers as far back as I can remember learning how to fish for bass. The question was If you could spend a summer on one major body of water, to perfect your skills, understand big bodies of water and just over all better yourself as an angler what body of water would it be? It has been stated many times here that to truly become a better all around angler one must be able to be consistent on different bodies of water correct or not? Ask anyone who has fished Toledo Bend; it can easily be divided into 7 different bodies of water. One can learn a river system, shallow areas like Florida, rock & timber like a natural lake, 1,000s of acres of huge grass flats, deep water structure, sand bottom with little to no cover, & the dam area which is a creature all its own. Toledo would teach you more variety than any single lake I'd probably love it there. The Western NY shoreline of Lake Ontario features six bays, each like a unique small lake in their own right, two major rivers, the Genesee and Oswego, and countless creeks and streams. Throw in the big lake itself, and there are endless opportunities to learn several different fishing situations. My lifetime experience doesn't come close to yours, but I've spent over 30 years of my 37 years learning how to fish this water. Sounds like we both have been lucky to be situated close to such great places to fish. So, to answer the question of spending one summer, my answer is the same - I spend every summer there.

Wierd Anglers
Bassin_Finatic, we have a guy in our club that pretty much ONLY fishes Senkos. Weightless. In like 40' water. Its painful to watch. But, when everyone else is struggling, he usually comes up with a good bag. The old "blind squirrel finds a nut" syndrome. He once cast his line out, dug around in the boat's glovebox for his smokes, and then picked up the rod to find a fish on. This happened again, and he declared it was a pattern. So, for eight hours, I watched him go through this routine. We didn't do to well, but I caught a couple of walleye that went home with me, so all was not lost, LOL. BTW, we have a rule that says one line in the water at a time. I'm surprised that a bass tourney would allow four lines out like that.
