  1. Need Help -- Boat problem

    I have a 2001 Ranger R83 w/ a Mercury 175. A "chrping" sound is coming from the dash when the motor is in gear. I know there are warnings for differnt components. I can not find a description of the warning in any of the books/manuals I have. Does any have any information about the "chirping"? Thanks Phil0034
