  1. I bought an old 10" Jon boat. I want to be able to fish small local ponds. Hope pond, Echo Lake-that size pond. I have a 17' Nitro that I normally use. I want to refurb this boat for that use. I've pretty much completed stripping old wood, paint, etc. The bottom does'nt seem to leak, nor does the metal (bottom) seem thin or have any loose rivets. I'm trying to protect the bottom and INSURE that it does'nt leak. My thought was to use bedliner, but your comment caused me to rethink that. I'm not trying to get fancy, I just want it to look good and be functional. Besides, I just retired and have wanted to do this for some time. Any suggetions would be appreciated. Thanks
  2. Thanks for the response-what do you suggest doing. BTW I live in Warwick. Thanks
  3. Good Morning, I'm in the process of refurbishing and Jon boat. I was considering using bedliner on the bottom(outside). I wwould like to hear abot anyones experience doing this. The stuff is expensive and I don't want to have to do that part again. Thanks. JBREFURB
