  1. I can't say I have much bass fishing experience yet, but like many others here it seems, I got started on fishing panfish when I was young. Dad would take me and sis out to fish bluegill a lot. Take them home, watch dad filllet 'em up and have an awesome dinner. I then didn't get the chance to fish much during my teen years & early 20's, but a buddy has gotten me re-hooked and now go up to northern WI each year for a week to long lake. I'm so glad I have gotten back into fishing!
  2. Very nice. I am planning on doing a little experimnting with lure painting myself. Not so much the carving yet, but painting them. Can I ask what you process is for layering(primer, painting epoxy,etc..)? I have done some searching in this forum but have only found bits & pieces. If I have missed a discussion, a link would be great! I was thinking it would go, sealer(if wood) primer, painting, epoxy. It almost looks as though from some peoples creations, they must had a layer of epoxy before painting because of the "thickness" I see on near the screw eyes under the paint. Could someone clarify? It seems most use the 2-ton epoxy, but also I saw envirotex too. Any thoughts on which is more durable(if one is even better)? I have an airbrush and would love to give this a shot! I'm sure it'll help pass the next few months a little quicker
