  1. jack plate on new ranger boat?

    Do I need to put a jack plate on a new ranger z boat? my main fishing is on small (80 to 600 acre) lakes , very little big water like (Lake St Clair,Mi). Its not about the money to put it on , just if it is neccesary for my type of fishing. I'm planning that this will be my last purchase in boats. I have small ranger boat now w/no jack pate.
